Saltwater Cowboys: Food With a View
Saltwater Cowboys is on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant. And it is definitely worth the trip.
First off, since it's located right on the water, Saltwater Cowboys has some amazing views. From the boats, kayakers, stand-up paddleboarders, shrimpers and, my favorite, the pelicans, this view has it all. You really get a full sense of life on the creek.
As for seating, Saltwater Cowboys has indoor and outdoor options. And they use local seafood right from the docks! How fresh is that?
The menu has a variety of options that will suit any taste, even the most picky or discriminate of eaters. And let me tell you...the trashcan nachos are definitely a fan favorite. I also ordered the pimento cheese appetizer and fresh ceviche and absolutely loved it. Saltwater Cowboys has cocktails, wine and beer with a few local beers as well.
