Boone Hall Plantation Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins, ponies and a hayride oh my! This event every year is so much fun. Filled with family activities. At the entrance there’s a tiny market to pick out sweets and fall gifts. A pumpkin patch to pick out your very own to take home. Plenty of kid’s areas to climb, slide, jump and swing. Tons of photo opportunity spots to gather and take selfies. I love the petting zoo and pony ride area. My kids love getting up close and personal with a kangaroo, camel, goats, baby calves and more. You can pay extra to feed the animals and pony rides are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are a few food and sweet vendors to boost your energy and really make it a full day event. Towards the back is the goat walk area where you can pay to feed the goats way up high on their walks. There’s also a fun corn maze to navigate through. Don’t leave before you do the family friendly hayride. Not scary at all. Kids of all ages will love the colorful decorations scattered throughout the Boone Hall Farms woods. Towards the end of the ride they have funny Halloween jokes painted on doors. Try to memorize as many as you can.

**Parent Pleasant Tip: there is a lot of sand at the kids areas. We dressed our two in rain boots. Easy to pull off and put on. I also kept an extra pair of socks and shoes in the car in case we weren’t heading straight home.
