Birthday Party at The Charleston Animal Society

The Charleston Animal Society is a great place to host a children’s birthday party. My daughter and I were lucky enough to be invited to one last weekend. It was so much fun. Filled with activities and animals. The staff was knowledgable, helpful and very friendly. During the party we met two types of rabbits, a dog and a kitten. The kids loved every moment. They followed directions to keep the animals feeling safe and loved being able to pet them. Instead of gifts, you can ask your guests to bring donations for the animals at the shelter. The birthday girl made a home for hamsters out of a shoebox. Great way to teach your children to give back. The children ate pizza, ice cream and cupcakes. There was a photo prop station for taking pictures, a craft and games. The kids picked out a stuffed animal to adopt and take home. Even received an adoption certification.
