Centrally located in the Upper King Street area of Historic Downtown Charleston, the Charleston Music Hall is an outstanding venue for shows of all varieties. The Hall is conveniently located next door to two award-winning hotels and three nationally acclaimed restaurants. Combine this with popular shopping destinations, museums, and three public parking garages located within two blocks of the venue and you get the perfect Charleston setting for any event.
This versatile space combines historical elegance with modern functionality. Above all else, the Music Hall is a listening room; an intimate environment in which the audience and the artist can interact on a more personal level. In this space, that boasts the best acoustics in town, there literally is not a bad seat in the house.

Music Farm & The Royal American
32 Ann St, Charleston, SC 29403
Renovations and modifications to the club are already underway and include reducing the capacity to a comfortable 650 maximum, installing brand new air conditioning units, replacing the sound system and adding additional acoustic treatments to the room, and upgrading artist amenities. The venue will undergo a much needed face-lift and tune up, but will still maintain its historic charm.
In addition, we are thrilled to announce that The Royal American will be running the kitchen at the Music Farm. They will be slinging food for concert goers at every show and will also have a window open on Ann Street with seating so late night King Street bar hoppers can stop by and grab some delicious food. The menu is still to be determined but expect to see some Royal American staples (Patty Melts, yum!) that we all know and love.
The newly renovated, multi-purpose space will allow for live music, private event rentals – such as weddings, corporate events, and community fundraisers – comedy shows, themed dance nights, and more. Our team plans to take the same energy, creativity, and customer service standards established at the Music Hall over the past decade to bring new life to one of Charleston’s most iconic venues.
