Poke Tea House
Poke Tea House poke bowls are fresh, healthy and amazing. What is a poke bowl? Poke means “to slice or cut” in Hawaiian and refers to chunks of raw, marinated fish over rice and topped with vegetables and asian sauces. Poke Tea House has so many more options. You can choose from one of their signature poke bowls, poke salads or poke burritos.
After walking the Arthur Ravenel Jr bridge my girlfriend and I stopped in to try this place out. We both decided to build or own pokes. I ordered a poke bowl with ahi tuna, salmon, avocado, ogo seaweed, mango, edamame and minced spicy tuna with the classic poke sauce. My girlfriend ordered a poke salad with zucchini noodles, seared white tuna, seaweed salad, mango, avocado, edamame and tobiko (sweet egg) with ponzu sauce. We sipped on Poke Tea House’s fresh made iced lemon green tea while we both devoured our meals. We felt satisfied and healthy after and were already discussing coming back to try the entire menu.
